Independent Reporting on Global Affairs
Worldstate is an independent publication covering global affairs. We exist to give readers an unbiased, open forum for international news, opinion, and conversation.
We publish web articles on a rolling basis and periodic digital editions, distributed as downloadable PDFs in the tradition of a printed broadsheet.
Worldstate separates news reporting from opinion and labels each accordingly. Sources are attributed wherever possible, and subjects of critical coverage are given an opportunity to respond before publication.
Errors of fact are corrected promptly and transparently. Corrected articles are marked with the date and nature of the correction.
Worldstate was founded in 2026 by a group of writers and editors who wanted a publication built on editorial independence from the ground up, with standards written before the first story ran.
